Our client is a Wire and Harness manufacturer in the Swindon area and they are currently looking for an experienced Quality Manager/Engineer. You will be reporting to the Company Director and you will be responsible for quality throughout the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

You will have responsibility for the overall effectiveness and continual improvement of the Company's Management Systems at our client’s location. This will include maintaining ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 registration.

 

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

 

  • Ensuring continued ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 registration.
  • Document control of all Quality procedures and documents.
  • Internal Quality Audits.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution using 8D process.
  • External Customer and Supplier Audits.
  • Management Review.
  • Collate monthly internal defect data.
  • Customer FAIR’s.

 

Knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 would be an advantage.

Knowledge of harnessing manufacturing processes and IPC 620 would also be advantageous.

 

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

 

The working hours are 07:30 to 16:30 and 13:00 hrs finish on a Friday.

 

20 days holiday entitlement with standard Bank Holidays.
