Job Description:

Exciting new roles have been created to continue to drive the business forward to meet new challenges. These new roles with require successful candidates to co-ordinate and successfully deliver allocated engineering development projects throughout the engineering development life cycle to production hand-over.

Main Duties:

·Lead the identified integrated project team to successfully deliver all UEE customer commitments with an optimal design to quality, on time and within defined and agreed financial parameters.

·To work with the Project Manager in the definition and co-ordination of the resources required and assigned to the projects

·To lead the allocated engineering resources to ensure the successful definition, development, testing, validation and delivery of UEE scope of supply for allocated projects and/or workscopes in a process compliant manner

·Development of close, long term productive and conducive customer relationships

·Lead and assist the team to develop solutions to technical problems to meet or exceed customer expectations

·Maintain a clear, comprehensive understanding of the technical accounts for the allocated project in line with identified customer requirements

Job Requirements

Personal attributes:

·Broad and relevant engineering experience including leadership of technical projects / teams ideally gained within the defence industry

·Successful track record showing clear progression and ability to satisfy customer requirements through building long term relationships

·Understanding of qualification trials and vehicle conversion processes

·Knowledge of vehicle and electronic architectures

·Degree in an appropriate technical discipline –ideally supported by post graduate qualifications and/or chartered engineer status

·Excellent communication skills and commercial / financial awareness

·Well organised, robust, self motivated team player
