Job Description:

Our client is a global supplier of sophisticated Data and Power solutions to the Aerospace and Military Land System markets. The organisation continues to capitalise on its success and has a requirement to expand its capability within the Systems Engineering Team.  The position would involve systems design activities as well as the co-ordination of small project teams to develop electrical/electronic products.

Key responsibilities:

·The development of safety critical and non safety critical solutions for the military and aerospace industries following a systems engineering approach.

·  To understand the needs of the all project stakeholders and actively manage their expectations to ensure successful project delivery.

·Contribute to the co-ordination and technical leadership of a multi-discipline project team to develop and deliver complex electronic and embedded software solutions.

·Capture and develop customer requirements into realisable product requirements.

·Produce design specifications and solutions ensuring design quality and performance

·Produce product verification plans and procedures to allow detailed integration and verification testing of the developed product.

·Preparation of technical proposals including estimations and presentations.

·Contribute to the continuous development of systems and business processes

Job Requirements

Personal attributes:

·Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing.

·Requirements capture and management skills.

·Excellent leadership and technical potential with a desire to develop their skills and abilities.

·Knowledge of DOORS and / or SysML would be advantageous.

·Comfortable interfacing at all levels in the business.

·Knowledge of the complete design lifecycle from Business Development to Serial Production.

·Ability to work on your own initiative, to prioritise workload deadlines to meet the project milestones.

·To succeed in this role, candidates will have a good honours degree in relevant discipline.
